By utilizing Keynote Live and a touch of creativity, we can showcase our students’ personalities while enhancing their fluency, intonation, and comprehension of text. This activity foster collaboration, promotes teamwork, and builds confidence in speaking. Whether the script is memorized or read aloud, these exercises enable students to deepen their understanding, improve fluency, and strengthen vital literacy skills, transforming reading into an interactive and enjoyable experience.

Creating Your Own Backgrounds:

Use prompt engineering skills and deep comprehension of the setting and theme to create the backgrounds yourself or challenge students. Canva AI and Image Playgrounds are great options. Once you have an image you like use the editor or save option to export the image into Keynote.

  • Prompting Tips
  • Simple background
  • Scene description (fantasy forest in spring, pioneer times on the prairie, etc...)
  • Artistic style desired (anime, watercolor, black and white, etc…)
  • Aspect Ratio (ie: 4:3 or 16:9)
