Content Visibility

Here’s some helpful information about the criteria that can restrict the visibility of content in the Forum.

Moderation

To keep the Community safe and reliable, content is moderated as it enters the system. Content with media or attachments under review is visible to members of the Community who have logged in, but is not visible to anonymous readers.

Content that has received a number of reports from Community members is temporarily made invisible until a moderator reviews the reports and takes action.

Topic area

Content that is posted in a target area with managed membership will be visible only to members of that area (subject to the content’s moderation status).
