Using Device groups in JAMF School to simplify workflows

JAMF is a powerful tool to manage Apple devices.

In a school with more than 400 and counting company-owned Apple devices, it becomes difficult for the IT team to manage them along with the other IT infrastructure. I have used the device groups feature of JAMF to create simplified workflows for IT managers. They help in easy and quick App installation and profile assignment to different users as per need.

I hope this guide helps IT managers in Apple-enabled schools to manage devices with ease and reduce the TAT between teacher demand and app installation or profile assignment. Do let me know if you use Device groups in some other way.
