Exploring Swift App Development with iPad

Recently, my students had the opportunity to join a Swift App Development using iPad workshop 📱💻, a program organized in collaboration between Apple 🍎 and the Malaysia Ministry of Education (MOE) via DELIMa 📚.

The sessions were conducted fully in Bahasa Melayu 🇲🇾, making coding and app development more accessible to our local learners. Using Swift Playgrounds 🧩, my students explored the basics of coding 👩‍💻👨‍💻 and even started creating simple apps 💡📲.

It was truly inspiring ✨ to see their creativity, problem-solving, and confidence grow throughout the workshop.

This initiative shows how powerful 💪 it is when technology, language, and education come together. With the support of Apple 🍎 and MOE DELIMa 📚, my students are not just learning to code — they are learning to innovate, create, and dream big 🌟.

👉 those who would like to revisit or learn from the sessions, the recordings are available on YouTube Live ▶️ through this playlist.

Wow! That is is a really awesome program. Thank you for sharing it with everyone. Are the student still continuing on with their learning? Are there ideas to expand the program further to reach more learners?

What an incredible opportunity for your students! I love how this workshop not only opened the door to coding but also made innovation accessible in their own language. Such a powerful way to spark creativity and confidence.
