Make A Positive Impact In Your Community

Empower your learners to create positive changes in their communities. Use the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) framework and Challenge for Change discussion guide and workbook, to engage, investigate and act on the challenge to “Make a positive impact in your community”. This Challenge is issued by Dr. Bernice King, CEO of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change and youngest daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

As you and your learners engage, investigate and act on ways to make a positive impact in your community and grow your experience using Apple technology to participate in CBL process, research as well as design solutions.

Sign up to join a scheduled Today at Apple session at a store near you or book a group reservation for a session just for your organization. Sessions are free and you will be provided devices during the session(s) to support your experience.

There is so much you can take away from these free Today at Apple sessions including:

  • GarageBand: Learn about how GarageBand can help produce music or audio tracks to contribute to your investigations or solutions.
  • iMovie for iPad: Learn more about storytelling using iMovie for iPad to document learning experiences or showcase solutions.
  • Numbers: Learn to collect and organize data collected during investigations using Numbers.
  • Swift Playgrounds: Take first steps with Swift coding and consider how designing an app could be part of your learners solution to make a positive impact in community and more.
