Everyone Can Create Numeracy Kaleidoscopes

Recently we used the Everyone Can Create Project Design a Kaleidoscope to capture numbers in the maths classroom and see what creations students came up with.

Images of various stationary from around the classroom captured with Photo Booth kaleidoscope filter

Each student was allocated a number and had to create up to 5 different gifs using the template included in the activity.

Photo booth is regularly used for selfies and not so often used for creativity or learning so it was good to show teachers how it can be integrated effectively into the classroom.

Lesson extension. We later extended this to the languages classroom to markup images of items in French.
