I have been teaching for 5 years now, and I would say the past two years have been important to understanding the importance of technology in the classroom. I have seen how students can become so creative when using technology. I think as teachers we want to be directing students every move, but with technology and students ability to be creative there’s a freedom to their learning. Their learning becomes individualized by their ability to showcase their understanding. Whether it be by using Apple apps or other iPad apps students can go a long way when we give them the freedom to learn and create.
