Transforming Tourism Education Through Simple Place-Based Learning with Apple Maps

Explore Tourism Places in Malaysia using Apple Maps through Place-Based Learning

In this lesson, I wanted to share a simple and engaging lesson idea that uses Apple Maps to teach tourism through place-based learning. This activity is easy to implement and helps students connect geography, tourism, and critical thinking using real-world destinations.

Instead of only reading about tourism, students explore actual places digitally and discuss why tourists visit certain locations. This makes learning more visual, relevant, and interactive.
