Keynote Image Media Placeholders-Natural Disasters

Next term my Year 2 and 3 students will be learning about natural disasters, focusing on New Zealand and our close neighbour Australia. As part of a collaborative learning process, in a small group they will develop a Keynote Image Place Holder for a specific natural disaster they have learnt about.

I've made an example to scaffold their process based on flooding and storms, looking at some key concepts, important landmarks and natural features in Palmerston North and the Manawatū Region. Adding a media placeholder photo or video through advanced format, that can be changed and modified by students as they add their own ideas and images is a straight forward way to creatively collaborate.

Students can then share their multi media collaborative presentation, knowledge and learning around natural disasters with their peers and whānau (families.)

I'm looking forward to seeing the learning evolve and integration of knowledge through Keynote and image media placeholders.
