Learning with iPad - Creating My Interactive StoryBook

Context

Book Creator allows students to combine text, images, drawings, audio, and video in a single digital book. This activity gives students the opportunity to plan, write, and design an e-book on a topic of their choice, whether it’s a fictional story, an informational guide, or a visual journal. The process builds creativity, narrative skills, and confidence with multimedia tools, while giving them something they can share proudly with peers and family.

Preparation and Flow

Introduce Book Creator – Show a quick demo of how to add text, images, and audio.

Brainstorm & Plan – Students choose a topic and outline their book (minimum 3–5 pages).

Create in Book Creator – Add text, images, drawings, and recordings.

Review & Edit – Check spelling, flow, and multimedia elements.

Publish & Share – Export the book as an ePub or PDF and share with the class.
