Lesson Details:
Students will use Clips to analyze a WWI propaganda poster. While using Clips, students will be able to utilize the tools, that are within the app, to help them create a video. They will be able to demonstrate a deeper understanding of what the poster is about, the intended audience, technique's being used, etc.
Goals/Objectives
- Students will be able to understand the role of propaganda during WWI.
- Students will be able to identify how different propaganda techniques are used.
- Students will be able to use Clips to demonstrate an understanding of the topic.
- Students will be able to add stickers, emoji’s, voice recordings, and posters to their Clips video.

Great to use the World War I posters integrated with student Clips created videos to understand propaganda and media literacy! Thanks for the post.
If you haven’t accessed this Library of Congress Free to Use and Reuse set on World War I posters you might point your students to that site. There are some wonderful examples of World War I media they might want to use.
I’ve also used Keynote to animate these posters - another additional tool for students to integrate animation into media they are learning about and demonstrating.
