4th Grade Multiplying with Partial Products

I created an activity in Numbers using conditional formatting that allows students to type in each step of a multiplication process while multiplying using partial products. With the conditional formatting, each step/box will turn green if the student types in the correct number. They accessed the Numbers document through Schoolwork. I have attached the original assignment and a student example. I use conditional formatting like this for teaching many different multiplication and division concepts. You can also use conditional formatting to label pictures, charts, graphs, etc.

What a perfect way for students to self check as they solve math problems! Thank you for sharing!

I thought that this was a good idea to do. I think conditional highlighting is such a good feature to use because students know immediately whether they got the correct answer or not!
