Teaching Multiplicative Thinking - Chocolate Arrays

This activity was created for Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) students to teach them a variety of Keynote skills and consolidate their knowledge and understanding of multiplicative thinking.

Students were to rearrange the chocolates into different arrays. The task grew in complexity and introduced Keynote features and functions, from basic moving shapes and responding to prompts to adding shapes and audio and then onto animation.

Feel free to use the below Keynote resource and modify it as you need.

Nothing like Chocolate to encourage learning 😊! Very cool activity, teaching learners to explore Keynote as well as math! Thanks for the template.

Thanks for sharing! I'm going to modify this for my Year 1s after our winter holiday. :)

I thought that this was a really cool activity because it keeps the students engaged and they also get to use technology in their own creative way!
