Numbers is a great tool for not only investigating data and data displays, but also providing a workflow and scaffolds for students. This Numbers document provides a workflow from collecting data, creating data displays and then reflecting and analysing their results. It also includes curriculum links from the V9 Australian Curriculum for teachers.
Although the topic of this activity is waste, the template could easily be modified.
